Collection of articles on religion, science, and morality, as well as an article on translations of the Bible since 1925, sent by M. Barkman to Rabbi Herbert Goldstein, then president of the Orthodox Union. Barkman wrote Goldstein that material of this nature, though written from a Christian viewpoint, could be refined through the "furnace of Israel" and then serve as the basis for textbooks to be used in public schools and colleges.
